The GAI does not need to be notarized until you get the price and accept it. This application is a legal document therefore every letter and punctuation must be exact.

All new bonds and insufficiencies require an application and financial statements.
If the financials are approved, the only remaining item is the GAI. Provide one GAI per company—unless you are an LLC, in which case both corporate and individual GAIs are required. There are two GAI versions (Domestic and Foreign); choose the one appropriate for your company.
If financials are not approved, or if you prefer not to submit financials, proceed directly to the collateral documents.
All bonds require a GAI, and all GAIs must be notarized.
